Outside Sales Representative - Fintech Software Solutions

About This Role

This role involves prospecting and conducting presentations of the Genius Point of Sale system to small and mid-sized businesses, with the goal of closing deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Software Relationship Manager, you will work to provide tangible software solutions and drive sales for Global Payments Inc.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new clients and set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships
• Run scheduled appointments, uncover client needs, and present Global Payments Point of Sale solutions to close sales
• Maintain existing and prospective client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, currently Atlas, including call notes, scheduled interactions, and contact information
• Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments, to secure quota
• Continuously build and develop knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and changes within the financial technology industry
• Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one sessions with the leader

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license for regular driving to client sites
• Live in the area relative to the job posting location
• Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time
• Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team

• High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
• Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• At least two years of relevant sales experience
