About This Role

This Outside Sales Representative role focuses on generating sales and developing customer relationships within the commercial market segment, ensuring long-term client satisfaction. The representative will identify new business opportunities and meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes
  • Identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other sales techniques
  • Qualify and prioritize leads based on their needs, budget, and potential to convert into long-term clients
  • Effectively present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet specific needs
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, offering support and ensuring satisfaction
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, contributing to overall company growth and success
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position products and services
  • Work closely with marketing, customer support, and product teams to align sales efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards targets using CRM tools

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of work-related sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience, college education preferred
  • Minimum of one to three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required; Three to five years of experience preferred
