This role is responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to orthodontic patients, performing various clinical procedures, and educating patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
- Perform bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
- Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data, and transcribe doctor notes
- Perform laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
- Perform final checks on patients and lead patient flow
- Manage the remote monitoring dashboard, including review/triage patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triaging notifications
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols
- Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
- Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task
