Operations Manager Trainee

About This Role

This role involves developing and coaching frontline employees, preparing candidates to become Operations Managers by increasing financial profitability, maximizing operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and leading teams. The majority of the day will be spent interacting with employees in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees
• Regularly review best practices to enhance daily performance
• Partner with Drivers and Technicians to develop job-related skills
• Complete the assigned OMT training curriculum and all other assigned training
• Actively practice and seek feedback on coaching conversations
• Collaborate with all frontline managers to learn day-to-day business operations
• Develop knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems
• Develop knowledge of operational business processes, systems & tools
• Develop knowledge of performance management, dispatch & routing, and fleet maintenance processes

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Valid Driver's License
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with two years of relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience
