Bilingual Operations Manager Trainee

About This Role

The Operations Manager Trainee will participate in a hands-on training program to prepare them for a front-line Operations Manager role, focusing on developing teams, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving customer satisfaction within the waste management industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees
• Review best practices to enhance daily performance
• Partner with Drivers and Technicians to develop job-related skills
• Complete the assigned OMT training curriculum and all other assigned training
• Actively practice and seek feedback on coaching conversations
• Collaborate with all frontline managers to learn day-to-day business operations
• Develop knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems
• Understand operational business processes, systems & tools
• Learn performance management, dispatch & routing, and fleet maintenance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Open to relocation within a certain geographic area

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) with two (2) years of relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
