Operations Supervisor II - MRF

About This Role

Supervise daily operations within a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to enhance production efficiency, control costs, and ensure safety standards are consistently met. This role involves managing plant operations, inventory, staff, and logistics to achieve operational goals for a leading waste and environmental services provider.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations and maintain inventory for safety and operational supplies.
• Review and evaluate work to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to policies and procedures, including quality control.
• Manage plant logistics and materials, supervise daily production, and enter finished goods into inventory.
• Order supplies as needed for facility operations.
• Supervise production staff and coordinate workflow and assignments to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee operations personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance.
• Provide input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions for staff.
• Investigate, review, and control the implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Create and submit weekly and month-end reports to senior management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
• 4-6 years previous experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Four (4) to six (6) years previous experience in operations supervision.
