Operations Manager Trainee

About This Role

The Operations Manager Trainee program prepares individuals to become front-line Operations Managers, focusing on increasing financial profitability, maximizing operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and leading teams. The role involves hands-on training and interaction with front-line employees in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees
• Regularly review best practices to enhance daily performance
• Partner with Drivers and Technicians to develop job-related skills
• Complete the assigned OMT training curriculum and all other assigned training
• Actively practice and seek feedback on coaching conversations
• Collaborate with all frontline managers to learn day-to-day business operations
• Develop knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems
• Develop knowledge of operational business processes, systems & tools
• Develop knowledge of performance management, dispatch & routing, and fleet maintenance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED with two (2) years of relevant work experience
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
