The Operations Manager Trainee program prepares individuals to become front-line Operations Managers, focusing on increasing financial profitability, maximizing operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and leading teams. The role involves hands-on training and interaction with front-line employees in the field.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees
- Regularly review best practices to enhance daily performance
- Partner with Drivers and Technicians to develop job-related skills
- Complete the assigned OMT training curriculum and all other assigned training
- Actively practice and seek feedback on coaching conversations
- Collaborate with all frontline managers to learn day-to-day business operations
- Develop knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems
- Develop knowledge of operational business processes, systems & tools
- Develop knowledge of performance management, dispatch & routing, and fleet maintenance processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma/GED with two (2) years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
