About This Role

This Nurse Manager I role is responsible for overseeing primary care operations, implementing best practice models, and ensuring high-quality, safe patient care across one or more locations. The role involves managing staff, resources, and clinical duties while collaborating with healthcare providers and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practice models and patient care delivery systems in one or more locations.
• Investigate and resolve patient/family/member concerns regarding care and services.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to achieve optimal and safe patient care.
• Monitor resource needs and ensure appropriate assignment and utilization in clinical areas.
• Monitor the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Foster a safe environment for patients and employees.
• Maintain clinical expertise of self and team, providing clinical supervision and competency assessments.
• Manage human resources activities, including recruitment and employee management processes.
• Lead project teams and initiatives, monitoring implementation and delivery on objectives.
• Develop strategic partnerships and manage complex work streams for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Ability to implement best practice models and patient care delivery systems.
• Experience in investigating and resolving patient/family concerns.
• Capability to collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal patient care.
• Adept at monitoring resource needs and equipment maintenance.
• Strong understanding of scope of practice for delegating tasks and duties.
• Knowledge of Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local requirements.
