Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for a group of assigned patients
- Match patient needs with nurse's competencies
- Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA)
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- None required, but two years in acute care preferred.
Nice to Have
- Bachelors Degree
- Two years in acute care
- Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry or ICU
