About This Role

Perform residential mortgage occupancy verifications as an independent contractor, offering a flexible schedule and potential for full-time or supplemental income. This role involves inspecting properties and reporting their condition via a mobile application, primarily for mortgage lenders.

Responsibilities

Complete mortgage field inspections within 4 days of assignment
Report general property conditions and determine occupancy status based on industry standards
Take 9 or more photos of the property with brief comments
Complete a short form using a mobile application
Spend extended periods driving to multiple stops in an assigned county

Requirements

Computer with internet connection
Reliable vehicle
Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
Printer
Ability to pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but effective time management and ability to meet deadlines are crucial.

Nice to Have

Vehicle with good gas mileage
