Mortgage Field Services Inspector

About This Role

Perform residential occupancy verifications for mortgage lenders as an independent contractor. This role involves reporting on property conditions using a mobile application and managing inspections within a county-level territory.

Responsibilities

• Verify property occupancy
• Report on the general condition of properties using a mobile application
• Complete inspections within 4 days after assignment
• Determine occupancy based on industry standards
• Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments
• Complete a short form in an app
• Spend extended periods driving and making numerous stops in assigned territory

Requirements

• Computer with an internet connection
• Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus)
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
• Printer
• Ability to pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines is crucial.
