Perform residential occupancy verifications for mortgage lenders as an independent contractor. This role involves reporting on property conditions using a mobile application and managing inspections within a county-level territory.
Responsibilities
- Verify property occupancy
- Report on the general condition of properties using a mobile application
- Complete inspections within 4 days after assignment
- Determine occupancy based on industry standards
- Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments
- Complete a short form in an app
- Spend extended periods driving and making numerous stops in assigned territory
Requirements
- Computer with an internet connection
- Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus)
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
- Printer
- Ability to pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines is crucial.
