Member Specialist

About This Role

This role focuses on maintaining the sales floor, assisting members with purchases and self-service technology, and ensuring compliance with company policies to provide excellent member service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area of responsibility in accordance with Company policies, handling returns and organizing merchandise
• Provide member service at exit areas by reviewing receipts and assisting with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
• Maintain self-checkout area, resolve member issues, and assist with transactions and payments using self-service technology
• Secure and safeguard Sam's Club assets and property by observing potential criminal activity and maintaining documentation
• Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with co-workers and identifying improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• Entry level

Nice to Have

• Customer Service experience
• Retail experience including operating front end equipment (cash register)
• Working with mobile retail applications
