Member Specialist

About This Role

The Member Specialist at Sam's Club ensures the seamless operation of the store by managing returns, organizing merchandise, providing exceptional customer service at exit and self-checkout areas, and assisting with asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Handle returns, zone areas, organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages in accordance with Company policies
• Maintain exit areas, review member receipts, acknowledge members, and assist with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise
• Maintain self-checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products/services, and process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity and maintaining documentation
• Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, new technology, and program rollouts
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers, identifying deadlines, and adapting to feedback

Nice to Have

• Customer Service experience
• Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register)
• Working with mobile retail applications
