Medical Waste/Sharps Driver Helper

About This Role

Assist Class A and Class B drivers with medical waste and sharps container handling, ensuring safe loading and unloading at the warehouse and customer sites. This role focuses on maintaining customer service best practices and meticulous paperwork processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Drivers with heavy lifting, loading and unloading medical sharp containers
• Assist Warehouse team with heavy lifting, loading and unloading medical sharp containers
• Properly use unloading techniques to ensure safety and eliminate damage to product
• Properly use customer service best practices to ensure consistent quality service
• Provide attention to detail for paperwork required to process items onto the truck
• Prioritize and organize truck per schedule and need

Requirements

• Flexible, can-do attitude with strong customer focus
• Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure trucks
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs and push/pull up to 200lbs
