Field Service Technician

About This Role

This role involves providing critical medical waste services to two Bon Secours hospitals, ensuring safe and timely container exchanges, and maintaining inventory. It requires a physically fit individual able to perform heavy lifting and active, on-the-go work.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces
• Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure all areas are stocked and organized
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with team
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Enjoys active, on-the-go work
• Team player who can also work independently
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures
• Reliable transportation
• Can-do attitude

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role is preferred.
