Medical Waste HAZ Class B Driver

About This Role

The Medical Waste HAZ Class B Driver is responsible for safely collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations in the Easton, PA area. This role involves operating a 26 ft box truck, delivering consistent customer service, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
• Operate vehicles in a safe manner, specifically a 26 ft box truck
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate any changes or challenges
• Load and unload waste, prioritizing and organizing the truck per schedule and needs
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours, and roadside inspections
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

Requirements

• Class B license with HAZ endorsement and a clean driving record
• Valid DOT medical card
• Successful completion of 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• 3 years experience operating a 26 foot box truck or larger
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
• Confidence in road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices

• 3 years experience operating a 26 foot box truck or larger
