About This Role

The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider. This role involves clinical, environmental, and administrative duties to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care
• Perform job specific tasks under direct supervision of a physician or licensed medical provider
• Perform activities necessary for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients and their families
• Complete clinical duties in designated areas
• Complete environmental duties in designated areas
• Complete administrative duties in designated areas

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program
• Cert Clin Medical Assistant OR Certified Medical Assistant OR Registered Medical Assistant
• Basic Life Support certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program. 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant preferred.

Nice to Have

• 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant
• Experience with EPIC EMR
