About This Role

Manage high-level relationships with major accounts, focusing on significant revenue growth and cultivating partnerships for customer success. This role requires strategic insight and hands-on execution to achieve business objectives and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for major accounts, maintaining executive-level relationships
  • Sell products and services to national named accounts, focusing on growth and retention
  • Identify and qualify long-term and short-term business opportunities while addressing competitive threats
  • Prepare and present formal proposals to all levels of the organizational hierarchy
  • Facilitate executive-level communication among customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends and government regulations affecting target markets
  • Develop an understanding of customer business needs and communicate how solutions address those
  • Research potential customers and follow up diligently on leads
  • Create and implement market strategies for each product and service
  • Lead coordination of account strategies for sales support teams
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and maintain Salesforce records
  • Develop detailed account profiles for management review
  • Implement strategies for successful business management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative solutions tailored to client needs
  • Uphold the company's Business Code of Ethics

Requirements

  • 8+ years of direct work experience in a relevant field
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Expertise in solution selling and presentation
  • Client-focused approach with advanced interfacing skills
  • Proficient in navigating complex sales environments
  • Ability to lead teams and prioritize workload effectively
  • Knowledge in networking products and related technologies
  • Experience with Internet-related software and systems
  • Ability to work from a home office within the territory
