About This Role

Operate and maintain basic food processing machines to produce intermediate food products, ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met. This role is crucial for efficient production in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products
• Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings
• Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines
• Inspect parts to specifications and make necessary adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality
• Clean and sanitize machines according to company guidelines and machine specifications
• Ensure product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, HACCP requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices
