Junior Metrology Technician

About This Role

This role is pivotal in operating equipment in an applications lab, performing tool operations and metrology activities to support and maintain innovative equipment and provide direct support to the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineers in preparation for 300mm wafer-based experiments
• Collect metrology data and prepare/submit coupon samples
• Operate advanced tools with engineering-defined recipes to collect on-tool experiment results and wafer-based metrology measurements
• Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities for application lab tools and experiment setups

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience
• Associates degree or higher in a technical field (semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related)
• Familiar with cleanroom protocol
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
