Manage and streamline the engineering change control process within a PLM system for a Fortune 350 semiconductor manufacturing client. This role involves generating and processing change orders, data mining, and managing document tracking and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage Change Orders (CO) through closure
- Perform documentation research for parts/assemblies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to change control policies and drafting standards
- Support New Product Introduction Program Managers (NPI PMs) daily for Engineering Change Order activities
- Interface with Engineers and Designers on design solutions for Bills of Material (BOMs) that align with lean manufacturing requirements
- Align key collaborators to drive solutions in alignment with cutin strategies, E&O, and effectivities
- Act as Point of Contact (POC) for Change Control processes in Engineering
- Monitor and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely change cut in
- Process part numbers, bills of material, and change orders, including preparation for the change control board, review for clarity, errors, proper approval routing, accuracy, and completeness
- Track documents from initiation to final approval
- Track and report on document review progress
- Develop, track, and report key metrics
- Generate and manage documentation in support of ISO standards, including revisions and releases
- Update drawing from model changes
- Support the engineering and design team on drawing and spec updates
- Facilitate Design review meetings and act as a coordinator
- Capture Key decisions, action items, and send detailed meeting minutes

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Experience in resolving scheduling conflicts and accommodating last-minute changes with competing priorities
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Formatting, Graphing), MS Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
