Provide IT desktop support to end-users in a radiology healthcare environment, ensuring reliable access to critical systems and medical imaging platforms for medical professionals and staff. This role contributes to challenging the status quo in radiology by ensuring technology supports accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support for desktop, laptop, workstation, and mobile device issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of radiology-specific software like PACS and RIS
- Ensure imaging devices function correctly and are accessible to end-users
- Support the installation, setup, and maintenance of desktop hardware, operating systems, and specialized radiology applications
- Respond to and resolve IT issues related to desktop systems, networking, and medical imaging technology, providing remote and on-site support
- Monitor system performance and apply software patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure continued operation of clinical and administrative systems
- Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to resolve system outages and network issues
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and escalate issues using IT service management tools like ServiceNow and JIRA
- Ensure all desktop systems and medical imaging devices meet HIPAA privacy and security requirements, enforcing encryption standards
- Conduct training for staff on the use of hardware and software tools to promote efficient and secure system operation
