This role involves serving as a Human Resources Business Partner, guiding team members and leadership in human capital efforts to support organizational goals like talent building, culture enhancement, and performance improvement. The Human Resources Generalist will also ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to HR matters.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate HR programs and implement process improvements within the Distribution Center
- Handle all ongoing people-related projects
- Implement Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs
- Identify ways to improve resources for efficient organizational structure
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation related to all human resources matters
- Manage vendors to administer employee programs
- Assist with the implementation and administration of communications plans
- Assist with the administration of the workers' compensation program for the facility
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree BA/BS or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in related field
- Working knowledge of Human Resource practices with expertise in staffing, new hire orientation and onboarding
- Experience solving human resources issues
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in systems, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree BA/BS or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
