About This Role

The Human Resources Generalist will support multi-state, multi-site operations by managing leave administration, employee relations, investigations, performance management, and benefits oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Support leave administration for FMLA, disability, workers’ compensation, military, and personal leaves, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal policies
  • Maintain accurate and timely leave documentation
  • Communicate approved leaves and return-to-work updates to supervisors and employees
  • Assist in identifying and resolving HR compliance issues and recommending departmental process improvements
  • Guide managers through performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and other corrective measures
  • Conduct employment-related investigations and document findings
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all employee actions
  • Coordinate and support the employee termination process
  • Partner with employees and management to resolve workplace issues
  • Assist with benefits administration and invoice processing

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
  • 2-3 years of benefits administration experience
  • 2-3 years of workers’ compensation and disability claims administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience
