About This Role

This role supports Human Resources functions with a primary focus on recruitment, onboarding, and administering employee leaves. Additionally, this position handles benefits administration and maintains accurate employee data.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hiring efforts, post job openings, screen candidates, and schedule/participate in interviews
  • Manage community relations and career events
  • Prepare offer letters, schedule pre-employment screenings, and facilitate new hire orientation
  • Maintain HRIS and reporting systems for pre-employment and onboarding processes
  • Manage STD and FMLA processes, documentation, and communication with employees and payroll
  • Assist with winter furlough and unemployment administration for field employees
  • Update employee records, run reports, and oversee benefit enrollment and deductions in the Viewpoint HRIS system
  • Process monthly 401(k) deferrals, manage loans, and ensure accurate payroll and vendor updates
  • Handle offboarding procedures, system updates, exit interviews, and benefit reconciliation for terminations

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Focus on recruitment, leave management, and benefits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience, with a focus on recruitment, leave management, and benefits

Nice to Have

  • Human Resources experience in a construction or manufacturing setting
