About This Role

The Human Resources Generalist will provide part-time contract coverage for a planned leave, serving as a key HR point of contact for employees and managers. This role supports core HR operations, assists with a performance management system transition, and helps integrate recent acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related questions, policies, and procedures
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters including conduct, performance, accommodations, and grievances
  • Partner with managers to address performance issues, offering recommendations and documentation support
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for approximately 130 U.S.-based employees
  • Administer core HR operations including payroll updates, bonus payments, PTO tracking, expense reimbursements, and benefits changes
  • Support and administer compensation, benefits, and performance management programs
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Support the transition and ongoing administration of the employee performance management system
  • Support the integration of several small acquisitions (approximately 10 employees each)
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to support leadership requests and operational decision-making

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws (local, state, and federal)
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience preferred
  • 4–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Cornerstone
