This role involves maintaining the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall facility, ensuring patient and visitor safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure general cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms and the overall building
- Play a key role in patient and visitor safety, comfort and satisfaction
- Adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety and infection control
- Respond positively to requests from supervisors, patients, their families, and staff
- Interact positively with patients, their families, and staff
- Follow instructions and cleaning schedules
Requirements
- Basic understanding of cleanliness standards
- Skills and abilities to perform a variety of housekeeping duties
- Willingness to learn and follow applicable regulations and policies
- Passion for delivering great customer service
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
- Professional and appropriate in appearance, conversation, and behavior
- Ability to complete pre-employment process and screening
- Ability to pass physical examination for gainful employment
- Ability to pass required orientation and training
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
