About This Role

The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient check-in and check-out processes at the Houston Marriott Westchase. This role involves supervising staff, managing guest inquiries, and supporting the Front Office Manager in maintaining high service and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support Front Office Manager with day-to-day operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide real-time guest room, hotel, and local event information to guests.
  • Supervise front office operations, ensuring team members follow best practices and exceed brand standards.
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional, positive, and professional customer service.
  • Facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring proper credit, special requests, and accurate information.
  • Assist in resolving problems and performing service recovery when necessary.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in hotel front office operations, in a supervisor or lead role.
  • Experience using hotel reservation management software or other relevant programs/technology.
  • Advanced understanding of guest services skills and behaviors.
  • Strong organizational and people skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adapt, and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to initiate and organize required tasks independently.
  • Ability to make decisions based on guest needs, brand standards, and hotel policies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in hotel front office operations, in a supervisor or lead role, preferably with a premium full-service hotel.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with a premium full-service hotel.
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite Products.
