The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient check-in and check-out processes at the Houston Marriott Westchase. This role involves supervising staff, managing guest inquiries, and supporting the Front Office Manager in maintaining high service and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Actively support Front Office Manager with day-to-day operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide real-time guest room, hotel, and local event information to guests.
- Supervise front office operations, ensuring team members follow best practices and exceed brand standards.
- Lead by example, providing exceptional, positive, and professional customer service.
- Facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring proper credit, special requests, and accurate information.
- Assist in resolving problems and performing service recovery when necessary.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in hotel front office operations, in a supervisor or lead role.
- Experience using hotel reservation management software or other relevant programs/technology.
- Advanced understanding of guest services skills and behaviors.
- Strong organizational and people skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adapt, and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to initiate and organize required tasks independently.
- Ability to make decisions based on guest needs, brand standards, and hotel policies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in hotel front office operations, in a supervisor or lead role, preferably with a premium full-service hotel.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a premium full-service hotel.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite Products.
