The Hotel Maintenance Engineer performs a variety of maintenance functions for the hotel, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, and general upkeep. This role ensures the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are in good working order to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
- Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, and carpeting.
- Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, and other miscellaneous equipment.
- Keep records as required by company policy and procedures and maintain logs on completed tasks.
- Prepare and submit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort
- Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
