Join the Outback family as a Host/Server Assistant, creating a memorable experience for Guests with friendly, prompt, and attentive service. You will be the first and last impression while coordinating seating and assisting with various restaurant needs.
Responsibilities
- Make a memorable first and last impression for Guests.
- Greet incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner.
- Seat Guests in dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
- Coordinate wait times and seat Guests with a sense of urgency.
- Smile often and engage in genuine conversations with Guests.
- Possess general knowledge of the food and drink menu to recommend and upsell products.
- Answer phones promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed.
- Assist throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, and helping Guests.
- Lead the lobby experience for each Guest, adhering to Outback hospitality standards.
- Maintain safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time while performing essential job duties.
