About This Role

As a Busser, you will be a key team member at Outback Steakhouse, responsible for maintaining dining area cleanliness and ensuring a smooth guest experience. Your role involves bussing and resetting tables, addressing public area cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Bus, clean, and properly reset tables
• Address cleanliness or service needs in public areas to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Gain general knowledge of food and drink menu to recommend and upsell products
• Answer phones promptly and professionally, directing calls as applicable
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Comply with safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation standards, and all safety procedures

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
• Manual dexterity for handling glassware, utensils, and technology systems
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to work in areas with low or dim lighting
