Serve as a Host/Server Assistant for Outback Steakhouse, providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service to guests, making their day better and contributing to an incredible dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Make a memorable first and last impression on guests
- Greet incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner
- Seat guests in dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
- Coordinate the wait and seating of Guests with a sense of urgency
- Smile always and engage in genuine conversations with Guests
- Possess general knowledge of the food and drink menu, able to recommend and upsell products
- Answer the phone promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
- Assist throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and bar beverages, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences
- Lead the lobby experience for each Guest, adhering to Outback hospitality standards
- Maintain safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during shifts
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time
