Serve as the first point of contact for guests, managing seating and providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner
- Engage with guests who call with questions
- Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
- Roll silverware and clean menus
- Manage restaurant wait list to ensure guests' expectations of the wait are met
- Sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Perform light cleaning duties
Requirements
- Able to speak, read and understand English
- Demonstrated ability to interact with guests and fellow team members in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Able to communicate well
- Able to work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet deadline
- Able to effectively problem solve and analyze information
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
- Able to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Able to have continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching and twisting
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of guest service, food service experience preferred
