About This Role

The Host at Worman House is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and waiting lists, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience through excellent customer service and efficient table assignments.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
• Ensure guests are seated in a timely manner according to reservation and waitlist procedures
• Manage reservations, phone inquiries, and waiting lists efficiently
• Assist guests with menu questions, seating preferences, and special requests
• Communicate with restaurant team staff to ensure smooth guest flow and table turnover
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest concerns professionally

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism
• Familiarity with reservation systems and guest management processes
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant environment a plus
