About This Role

This role is responsible for providing the crucial first impression of the restaurant, managing hospitality duties, and ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. You will be instrumental in making guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Ted's standard of service is given to every guest, every time
• Anticipate the guests needs
• Have full knowledge of all four host positions (runner, greeter, hospitality, and podium)
• Be punctual and in full uniform for each shift
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants’
• Ensure that all health and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
• Have a positive attitude at all times
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned
• Turn tables as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Quote guests accurate wait times
• Communicate with management on large parties and quote times
• Greet guests with friendly smiles and enthusiasm

Requirements

• Interpersonal relations skills
• Professional in attitude, demeanor, and dress
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Qualifications

• Previous host experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred
