Home Health Aide

About This Role

Addus HomeCare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides to provide independent living support for seniors and people with disabilities in Delaware. The role involves following care plans, assisting with personal care and housekeeping, and observing client conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan/service plan for the client and report on completed tasks
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
• Provide routine house cleaning
• Observe and report any changes in client's condition as part of the client's Health Care Team
• Promote a positive image in the community as the leading home care provider

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program OR one year experience of in-home care services

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one year experience of in-home care services
• Newly graduated students welcome to apply; one year experience in-home care services or 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program also accepted.
