Home Health Aide

About This Role

Provide personal care and companionship services to adults, helping them maintain their independence and well-being at home. This role involves one-on-one support with daily activities and household tasks, working within a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
• Prepare and assist with feeding meals
• Assist with range of motion exercises
• Provide assistance with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Administer medication reminders

Requirements

• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required

Nice to Have

• Previous home health care or patient care experience
