Home Health Aide

About This Role

Provide personal care and companionship services as a Home Health Aide, helping adults safely and independently live in their homes. Develop close relationships with clients while delivering compassionate and excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Assist with range of motion exercises
• Aid in ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders

Requirements

• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
• Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability

Qualifications

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required. Training will be provided.
