Home Health Aide

About This Role

Provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care as a Home Health Aide in Middlebury, VT and Addison County. This role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance
• Assist with range of motion exercises
• Provide assistance with ambulation and transfers, including mechanical lifts
• Offer medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Ability to follow a care plan and work independently

Qualifications

• No experience required, paid training provided. Previous caregiver, HHA, PCA, CNA, or healthcare experience is a plus.
