Serve as the financial lead for large, complex client assignments, leveraging expertise in benefits financial/actuarial strategies to make strategic recommendations and drive revenue growth. Apply financial management and data analytics to solve client problems and develop new intellectual capital.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and deliver complex concepts and financial/actuarial/analytic results to effectively drive client action and improve plan performance
- Lead Medium to Large clients’ financial/actuarial engagements
- Develop and deliver the financial/actuarial strategy for a portfolio of Medium and/or Large clients
- Drive revenue growth through client sales of additional actuarial, financial, and/or risk solutions
- Provide consulting quality reviews and client delivery for all types of financial/actuarial deliverables
- Guide team (regional and global) on deliverables based on client need; review models and presentations for client delivery
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies and analysis
- Proven ability to generate revenue
- Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
- Deep understanding and expert knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit plan design, underwriting and funding concepts
- Proven ability to lead data analytic projects
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in the delivery of complex health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies and analysis in a consulting or brokerage environment
