About This Role

Lead sales pursuits and oversee the design and management of health and benefits programs for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. Drive strategy and grow relationships within the M&A Health & Benefits Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales pursuits and convey WTW’s expertise to potential clients
  • Partner with producers in WTW’s Risk & Broking practice and fuel the M&A center of excellence
  • Manage the client service team in the design and delivery of project plans
  • Proactively advise clients and ensure superior client service delivery
  • Lead vendor procurement strategy, negotiation, implementation, and optimization activities
  • Engage specialist resources and subject matter experts to solve client needs and generate new business
  • Grow Health & Benefits revenue by anticipating client needs, cross-selling solutions, and serving as the H&B expert in new client pursuits
  • Demonstrate extensive leadership ability by directly managing and/or mentoring colleagues
  • Conduct final review of deliverables to ensure alignment to client objectives and WTW standards

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in health and welfare plan design/management
  • Expertise working with portfolio companies and M&A activity
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and secure new relationships
  • Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
  • Executive presence and well-developed communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; HS diploma required
  • 10+ years’ experience in the design/management of complex health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment

Nice to Have

  • Health and welfare actuarial or underwriting training
