Guest Service Associate

About This Role

This role is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients and their belongings, as well as greeting and escorting family members and visitors throughout the facility while ensuring safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely transport patients and their belongings to and from inpatient rooms and care areas and upon discharge
• Greet family members and visitors
• Escort family members and visitors to various locations throughout the facility
• Screen family members and visitors to ensure safety and security
• Notify security discretely should a person be a VIP

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform repetitive duties
• Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff, and visitors
• Ability to receive constructive criticism professionally
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, computers, bar codes, pagers
• Works well with different units and departments
• Full knowledge of hospital ethics and policies as they pertain to the job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Hospitality experience
