The Guest Ambassador proactively interacts with guests at the Xfinity Center, providing information and assistance to enhance their experience. This role involves greeting guests, directing them, resolving minor issues, and taking part in post-show cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue
- Assist guests with venue-specific queries such as purchasing upgrades or fan merchandise
- Help guests find their seats, assist with seat relocation, and escort guests to artist meet & greets
- Assist in crowd control, properly and safely directing fans
- Communicate venue information about policies and procedures for guests
- Direct restroom, concessions, and merchandise lines to shorten guest waiting times
- Check restrooms frequently to ensure lines are moving and alert cleaning when necessary
- Assist in resolving guest complaints and direct complaints to appropriate supervisor and/or manager
- Participate in post-show clean up including picking up and sorting trash, recycling and compostable materials
- Possibly fill in temporarily with a department to support staffing levels during peak or break times
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience a plus
