As a Full Stack Software Engineer III, you will collaborate with your team to implement user stories, focusing on the architecture, design, coding, and deployment of new functions and features. This role involves contributing to development efforts, code reviews, and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Code user stories collaboratively with team members to ensure incremental delivery and minimize delays between Development and QA
- Contribute to the estimation of user stories for release and iteration planning
- Collaborate on application architecture and design to ensure sound and fit-for-purpose approaches and technologies
- Analyze requirements and work with product owners to ensure stories exhibit INVEST characteristics
- Participate in iteration retrospectives and collaborate to continuously improve team performance
- Contribute to departmental efforts to analyze and improve delivery processes and practices
Requirements
- More than 4 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Proven experience working in Agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of Agile planning, estimation techniques, and principles
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Source branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow)
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
- Experience managing tasks using Jira or similar ALM tools
- Demonstrated ability to write unit tests and develop testable code
- Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure
- Strong SQL skills and experience with major relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
- Proficiency in .NET fundamentals and C# (up to version 7.0)
- Experience with .NET Core
- Experience in .NET web development with MVC
- Competence in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular.js, Blazor, Classic ASP, and jQuery
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required, Graduate Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- More than Four (4) years of relevant software engineering experience
