Manage patient formula orders and research protocols, ensuring accurate preparation and timely delivery of formulas while adhering to aseptic techniques and departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare formulas per physician’s orders using aseptic technique
- Calculate formula recipes per physician order
- Escalate concerns about medical order errors appropriately
- Ensure timely delivery of modified or special formula/modular orders to patient care areas
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures through maintaining proper uniform in compliance with policy
- Perform hand hygiene and aseptic technique; ensure proper temperature control of products throughout transportation, mixing, and delivery processes
- Maintain environmental cleanliness of office space, preparation room and product storage daily
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree Health Related Field preferred.
- 6 months Healthcare work experience preferred.
