Food Service Associate

About This Role

This role is responsible for providing essential food services within a healthcare setting, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to food safety standards. The associate will handle meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and team members
• Respond to requests in a timely manner
• Communicate time-sensitive information to the Dietitian
• Set up and take down dining areas
• Assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
• Take inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times to rooms and onsite facilities
• Ensure food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work every weekend
• Ability to work five (5) out of six (6) holidays
• Ability to work rotating schedule/shifts
• Strong customer service skills
