About This Role

This role is responsible for providing guest satisfaction and ensuring the efficient, safe, and effective operation of the Pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, at various locations throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests, ensuring ultimate guest service
  • Handle prescriptions, including counting, labeling, and reconstituting
  • Manage inventory and medication therapy as allowed by state law
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records
  • Maintain guest charge and delivery records
  • Mail out prescriptions
  • Handle phone calls with provider's offices and guests within scope of practice/license
  • Operate personal vehicle in accordance with company safety policies and procedures and maintain an accurate transportation log
  • Travel extensively to assigned locations within the designated region/area to perform job duties
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active and in good standing pharmacy technician license issued by the Board of Pharmacy of the state(s) in which you are practicing
  • Ability to maintain required continuing education and renew license as required by State Board
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel extensively within designated region/area
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy related law
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position (bending, standing, squatting, climbing, walking for 8-12 hour period)
  • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent diploma (e.g., GED)

Nice to Have

  • Retail pharmacy experience
