About This Role

Prepare conventional and convenience type foods for patients and cafeteria, following established procedures. Maintain sanitation of food service work areas and stations.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies, principles, and applicable laws.
  • Observe appropriate food handling techniques according to hygiene standards.
  • Requisition or procure food supplies.
  • Prepare conventional and convenience type foods according to production sheets and standing orders.
  • Replenish food items as needed.
  • Clean and decontaminate patient care and work area stations.
  • Sanitize cooking utensils, wash, rinse, and dispose.
