About This Role

Supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an outstanding shopping experience at JCPenney, focusing on customer service, sales, and merchandise presentation. This role involves leadership, associate development, and meeting performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Model and hold team accountable for outstanding customer service, resolving problems, and maximizing sales.
• Drive profitable sales growth by supervising and engaging with associates, coaching to build lasting customer relationships.
• Provide direction to ensure efficient merchandise flow and maintain stock levels and presentation standards.
• Partner with store management to source and hire hourly talent, actively train, coach, and address performance issues.
• Meet established performance standards related to shrink, safety, Omnichannel, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, and productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years retail experience
• Ability to drive performance and make smart decisions to drive sales, profit, or customer service
• Strong relationship-building skills and effective communication
• Proactive approach to improving customer experience and acting with energy and urgency
• Confident leadership, willingness to take on challenging assignments, and ability to deal with conflict positively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
