About This Role

Supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience at JCPenney. Drive sales, ensure proper merchandise flow, and contribute to team development and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Model and hold team accountable for outstanding customer service
• Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems
• Maximize sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately
• Drive planning and execution of events and credit card acquisition
• Challenge team to drive profitable sales growth
• Coach and develop team by modeling company values to build lasting customer relationships
• Provide direction and support to team to ensure efficient merchandise flow
• Maintain stock levels and presentation standards
• Partner with store management team to source and hire store talent
• Play an active role in training and development of associates

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
• Ability to solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service
• Ability to develop positive relationships and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
