Supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience at JCPenney. Drive sales, ensure proper merchandise flow, and contribute to team development and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Model and hold team accountable for outstanding customer service
- Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems
- Maximize sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately
- Drive planning and execution of events and credit card acquisition
- Challenge team to drive profitable sales growth
- Coach and develop team by modeling company values to build lasting customer relationships
- Provide direction and support to team to ensure efficient merchandise flow
- Maintain stock levels and presentation standards
- Partner with store management team to source and hire store talent
- Play an active role in training and development of associates
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience
- Ability to solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service
- Ability to develop positive relationships and communicate effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience
